Hi, I'm Joshua Russell

What I Do?
How I can help with your next project
Graphic Design
I have been doing professional and freelance graphic design since before Photoshop CS! I studied art and multimedia design in college.
Web Design
I first got into writing websites when a client agreed to pay me the cost of an online web design class in exchange for building them a website!
Web Development
When building this website, I actually wrote a script that automatically codes the entire portfolio section for me so I don't have to!
Brand Identity
You would be amazed how many business owners I've met who had no brand materials for their company. I enjoy building distinctive, unified brand identity packages and style guides.
Photography
I started in darkroom photography over 20 years ago and still have my Minolta X-500 35mm. What a great camera! These days I shoot a lot on my mirrorless GH5.
Agency Services
My career in television and commercial production taught me how to sell through digital marketing and how to coordinate and plan marketing campaigns and show schedules.
Videography
When I was a kid, I found a vintage "pistol-grip" Super-8 movie camera in a prop room. I used to carry it around pretending to make movies. Filming never stopped being fun!
Audio Engineering
I learned to run live sound in the theater FOH booth in middle school. Since then, I've engineered professionally in studios and large arenas, for broadcast TV and radio, and on film sets and commercial shoots.
Writing
"Make one point, and make it well." When I started making commercials, I learned to pare pages of copy down to a few effective words.
